[What you will be working on]

We are seeking an experienced Product Operations Specialist to manage production releases, deployments, and platform operations for our Whole-of-Government (WOG) Product - LEARN. This role requires strong technical expertise in release management, vendor coordination capabilities, and the ability to ensure seamless platform operations across multiple environments whilst maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

LEARN is a WOG learning platform that enables public officers to develop skills and competencies through WOG (digital and physical) learning resources, and curated third-party content from providers such as Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, and Harvard Business Review, to support continuous professional development and competency-based workforce transformation.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute production releases from initial planning through post-deployment follow-up, ensuring all tickets meet readiness criteria and quality standards

  • Present release proposals at Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and secure necessary stakeholder approvals for production deployments

  • Manage and execute production deployments on (OutSystems) platform in collaboration with vendor partners, ensuring deployment quality and resolving any deployment errors

  • Conduct post-deployment activities including site configuration, batch job scheduling, and sanity checks to verify system functionality

  • Plan and coordinate (OutSystems) platform upgrades with vendors and business users, including testing in lower environments and obtaining required approvals

  • Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to perform sanity verification following scheduled maintenance for security patches

  • Administer and review system access controls, ensuring appropriate permissions and security compliance across all environments

  • Develop and maintain release management frameworks, deployment procedures, and escalation protocols

  • Monitor deployment metrics and platform health, identifying trends and recommending process improvements

  • Prepare regular reports on release performance, deployment success rates, and operational metrics for stakeholders

  • Utilise JIRA and ITIL frameworks to track, manage, and report on change requests, releases, and incidents

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of releases, deployments, and system changes following ITIL best practices

  • Ensure platform security, compliance, and operational best practices are maintained across all environments

  • Serve as a member of the Level 3 support team, working with the L3 support lead and the team to conduct investigations, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 supports


[What we are looking for]

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 4+ years of experience in release management, deployment operations, or platform administration

  • Experience in OutSystems platform management would be advantageous

  • Strong experience with ITIL frameworks, particularly change management, release management, and incident management processes

  • Experience implementing change management workflows using ITSM tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, or equivalent platforms

  • Solid understanding of web application architecture, deployment pipelines, and integration technologies

  • Experience with Change Advisory Board processes and stakeholder management for production releases

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and presentation abilities

  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure and services, with certification in GPC, GCC (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or equivalent cloud platforms preferred

  • Proven ability to work effectively with vendor partners and coordinate across multiple technical teams

  • Experience with production deployment automation, monitoring tools, and post-deployment verification processes
