How we work:

The Customer Success Programme Manager is a role for a leader who will serve as the key liaison between GovTech and Agencies’ senior leadership to identify strategic opportunities, drive GovTech’s initiatives at Agencies on a longer-term, and be accountable to realise outcomes using GovTech’s products that would advance the ministry cluster’s digitalisation programme. This role combines strategic stakeholder management, customer success advocacy, and operational oversight to ensure effective deployment and utilisation of GovTech’s products. 

He/She will partner with senior leadership to define strategies, and ensuring its alignment to organisational needs. He/She should be portrayed as a trusted thought partner with key stakeholders. He/She should also be providing guidance to peers and team members and steer them to deliver high-quality, thoughtfully designed deliverables for a large programme through effective analysis, and within resourcing / budgeting and operational readiness considerations. He/She should set best practices, establish cross-programme collaborations, and maintain trusted relationships with leadership and key stakeholders in influencing strategies. 

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between product roadmaps and Agencies’ needs whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery. 

Role Overview:

As a Deputy / Assistant Director, Programme Management, you will lead and oversee a portfolio of initiatives, or a significant subset of a programme. You will translate strategic priorities into tactical goals, orchestrating execution across multiple teams within the programme. This role combines operational oversight, stakeholder management, and team mentorship to ensure the effective deployment of GovTech’s products. 

What you will be working on:

  • Programme Execution: Plan and manage a significant subset of the programme consisting of multiple major projects, breaking down complex, broad problems spanning multiple teams into clear workstreams and roadmaps. 
  • Agency Partnership: Partner with Agencies’ senior leadership and CIO teams to share GovTech’s product roadmaps, identify opportunities to harmonise technology, and promote the effective use of our services. Facilitate design and implementation of indicators to measure effectiveness of GovTech’s products and services in delivering business outcomes and transformation goals Gather high-level feedback on whether products are delivering strategic value to Agencies and Government and propose plans to improve scores of measurement indicators.

1. Operational Oversight: Manage the delivery of the End-User Support Service (EUSS), provide visibility on service performance, and direct related change management initiatives.

2. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain active relationships to establish strategic trust and alignment with key stakeholders and Resolve complex stakeholder conflicts and facilitate solutioning across multiple teams. 

What we are looking for:

  • Strong problem-solving and scoping skills, with the ability to take on ambiguous challenges and develop actionable recommendations. 
  • Excellent capability in stakeholder alignment and engagement regarding ICT strategies and digital transformation.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and successfully lead cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Strategic thinking skills with broad perspective of different issues.
  • Knowledge of ICT architectures, delivery, and operations, alongside the ability to identify and manage risks for your team. 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
