[What you will be working on]
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Product Manager to drive the development and evolution of critical digital products and services for the citizens and businesses of Singapore. You will lead a team of product managers, define product strategy, and ensure successful product delivery in a dynamic government technology environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of government digital products, aligning with national strategic objectives and user needs.
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation, user-centricity, and agile product development.
- Conduct in-depth user research, market analysis, and competitive landscape assessment to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Translate complex user needs and policy requirements into clear, actionable product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, policy, and operations teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and make data-driven decisions on product enhancements and iterations.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate impact.
- Communicate product updates, strategies, and challenges effectively to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and external partners.
- Champion agile methodologies and continuous improvement within the product development lifecycle.
- Ensure products adhere to relevant government policies, security standards, and accessibility guidelines.
[What we are looking for]
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior product management role.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex digital products, preferably within a government or large enterprise context.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product lifecycle management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and experience using analytics tools to inform product decisions.
- Experience with user research techniques, prototyping, and user testing.
- Familiarity with government processes, policies, and digital transformation initiatives is a significant advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
