What the role is

You analyse and integrate data for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in the information environment.

What you will be working on

- Liaise and coordinate with information agencies across MINDEF/SAF and Whole-of-Government (WOG) - Monitor and lead a team to analyse threats and support information response plans - Direct and coordinate the conduct of trend analyses - Formulate assessments on current events and incidents - Sense-make key insights from various information sources Challenge(s) - Quickly understanding ongoing developments and conversations in the information environment - Combining qualitative analyses with technical knowledge - Remaining steady under time pressure - Being flexible and adaptive to changes in a rapidly evolving information landscape

What we are looking for

- Education in Mass Communications or Social Sciences (e.g., Political Science, International Relations, Psychology, Economics) - At least 10 years of work experience in a related field Strong interpersonal, writing, leadership and analytical skills - Ability to work in a team - Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapid changes - Strong foundational knowledge of information systems and data analytics methodologies - Understanding of overarching intelligence processes - Good awareness of Singapore's political, defence, and security developments as well as current affairs and the regional/international media environment is advantageous Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
