What the role is

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore’s internal security and stability. For over 70 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. What you will be working on

As a Mobile App Developer, you will be primarily involved in: • Conceptualising, designing and building - Android apps using Java/ Katlin and Native C programming - iOS apps using Swift programming • Performing unit test to ensure usability, robustness, edge cases and general reliability • Collaborating with fellow developers using software version control system

What we are looking for

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field of software development, or equivalent competencies will be preferred • Relevant knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous: - Knowledge of Android Studio, Java, Android SDK, Android architecture - Knowledge of XCode, Swift, iOS SDK, iOS architecture - Knowledge of both Android and iOS programming - Knowledge of software version control tool (e.g. GIT, SVN) - Experience with RESTful programming with JSON and XML - Knowledge of setting up web server using LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) platform • Only Singaporeans need apply We wish to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
