What the role is

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore’s internal security and stability. For over 75 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. What you will be working on

As a psychologist, your primary responsibilities include the following: - Conducting psychological assessments - Providing psychological and supportive counselling - Developing, implementing and reviewing rehabilitation programmes - Developing and undertaking research studies of direct application to the field of security-related studies - Managing all aspects of a research study from conceptualisation to data collection and report writing - Delivering training programmes for staff development

What we are looking for

- Degree in Psychology or equivalent competencies and experience - Candidates with no experience may apply - Interest in rehabilitation management and working in a forensic setting - Strong writing skills - competent in writing good quality research reports - Strong analytical skills - able to process information and analyse data patterns and derive conclusions based on sound reasoning - Able to design and deliver training programmes - Good communication skills (both spoken and written), presentation skills and interpersonal skills - Strong team player - Knowledge of statistical methods would be advantageous - Only Singaporeans need apply We wish to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
