What the role is

You formulate and implement cybersecurity polices, governance and regulatory frameworks to uplift cybersecurity across the MINDEF/SAF defence sectors i.e. MINDEF, SAF, DSTA, DSO, Defence Industries and MINDEF-related Organisations.

What you will be working on

On this, you liaise with Singapore government agencies, such as Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, Smart Nation and Government Office and Government Technology Agency. Your challenge lies in having to coordinate with multiple agencies to ensure cybersecurity strategy and polices are formulated and applied consistently across MINDEF/SAF Defence sectors in alignment with national-level cybersecurity requirements. In addition, you are expected to harmonise cybersecurity requirements at national level authorities with MINDEF/SAF Defence sectors cybersecurity policies and strategies.

What we are looking for

You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably with specific IT and cybersecurity related modules, with at least 2 years' working experience in cybersecurity roles. Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Information System Manager (CISM) or relevant GIAC certification is preferred. Possession of creative and analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills, good communication and presentation skills, the ability to multi-task and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
