You will be part of a core team of data scientists developing high-impact data science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects and products to enhance MINDEF/SAF's decision-making in policy, operations, and resource management.

- Education in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Quantitative Social Science, or a related field - Relevant training and certifications (e.g. Coursera) is advantageous - At least 2 years of working experience in data science, AI/ML engineering, or related areas is preferred - Coding experience in programming languages such as Python and R - Knowledge of big data processing frameworks and tools (e.g. Apache Spark, SQL) Experience with application development, web programming, or visualisation tools (e.g. Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI) - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Curious, creative, organised and detail-oriented (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
