What the role is

You are responsible for conducting and overseeing clinical and practical training for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course in the SAF Medical Training Institute (SMTI).

What you will be working on

- Deliver primary healthcare skills training across SMTI courses - Conduct currency training for medical vocationalists - Conduct medic proficiency testing for trainees - Support the administration of training programmes and management of training resources - Update and maintain lesson plans according to latest practices Challenge(s) - Maintaining comprehensive understanding of medical policies and medical centre work processes to identify lapses and recommend appropriate improvements - Keeping up with latest paramedical protocols and best practices in primary healthcare to ensure currency and high standards maintained

What we are looking for

- Education in healthcare-related fields, with Nursing being preferred - At least 3 years in any health care institution is advantageous - Training/educational background, ideally in medical training is advantageous - Strong interest in teaching - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Strong organisational and analytical abilities - Self-motivated and independent working style - Adaptability to change - Meticulous attention to detail (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
