What the role is

At IRAS, we partner you to deliver quality services and foster a competitive economic environment to achieve growth for our nation. You will be part of a future-ready team that leverages data and digital capabilities to support enterprise growth and inclusive workplaces through effective enterprise grants management.

The Data, Systems and Processes team in the Enterprise Grants Management Branch plans and implements enterprise grant schemes such as the Progressive Wage Credit scheme and Senior Employment Credit, working closely with policyowners, auditors, and other IRAS teams on policy design, system architecture, governance, risk management, implementation, and workflow improvement. The team balances between processing and development work to support grant implementation, as well as project management, system design and data analysis to build IRAS’ next enterprise grant disbursement platform. We also support customer service and anti-fraud teams.

What you will be working on

  • Manage allotment and disbursement processing operations and support audits to ensure prompt and accurate payments to businesses according to the disbursement criteria
  • Manage project timelines with other teams (e.g. IT, payments), and surface issues promptly to supervisor
  • Undertake troubleshooting and data analysis to investigate root causes of errors, and work with IT teams to implement fixes in a timely manner
  • Gather and document requirements, and plan and execute user testing on grant processing systems
  • Work with external stakeholders and other IRAS branches to address finance, governance, and risk matters
  • Work closely as a team to ensure successful delivery of major Government enterprise grant schemes to achieve national socio-economic objectives

What we are looking for

  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of peer leadership.
  • Comfortable with systems thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills, especially ability to explain technical concepts simply yet accurately
  • Tertiary qualification in any field. Exposure to Accountancy, Business Studies, Computer Science, Data Science, or Statistics is helpful but not required.
