You lead and supervise a small team to leverage data science methods and techniques to enhance MINDEF/SAF’s strategic communications.

- Supervise the derivation of data-driven insights and recommendations from the application of data science, integrated with social science insights, to study MINDEF/SAF’s audiences and defence-related issues - Supervise the translation of data into visual insights and recommendations to guide MINDEF/SAF’s strategic communications strategy, policy and planning across public and internal communications, and community engagement - Guide the team to develop and maintain the communications data architecture to support analysis and decision-making Challenge(s) - Translating complex data and technical findings to strategic communications practitioners and decision makers - Understanding MINDEF/SAF’s organisational considerations and the intricacies of the information environment that MINDEF/SAF operates in

- Education in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Psychometrics, Operational Research or related field - At least 6 years of experience in data science, analytics or communications, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience - Technical knowledge in analysis methods, data management, programming languages and visualisation software - Strong analytical skills - Problem-solving abilities - Good presentation and communication skills Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
