Your mission will be to strengthen Singapore’s cybersecurity capabilities through formulating strategies, planning new initiatives, and working with partners to grow the cybersecurity industry for national security and economic benefits.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders including government agencies, institutes of higher learning, business associations, venture capitalists as well as cybersecurity companies. You will also work closely with the national CyberSG Talent, Innovation and Growth Collaboration Centre (TIG Centre) to support cybersecurity innovation, and bolster Singapore’s reputation as a trusted digital hub and to advance cybersecurity as an economic driver for Singapore.

What the role is
What you will be working on
Responsibilities
• Lead the development of CSA’s industry development strategy to establish mechanisms and resources to grow the industry and build a vibrant and sustainable ecosystem.
• Conduct in-depth market study to identify relevant trends, opportunities, and emerging issues in the cybersecurity industry. This includes challenging conventional thinking and identifying gaps.
• Drive inter-ministry and inter-government coordination and collaboration on cybersecurity industry development.
• Design and implement new programmes to increase the vibrancy of the cybersecurity industry, and innovation ecosystem. This includes forging strong partnerships with Institutes of Higher Learning and Industry players as well as securing CSA and inter-agency buy-in and approvals for funding.
• Identify and develop partnerships with industry players and knowledge partners to drive industry development efforts.
• Oversee a team to prepare insightful reports and presentations to communicate strategic recommendations to leadership.
What we are looking for
Requirements
• Qualification(s) in Business, Economics, Communication or Computer Science.
• More than 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably within the government sector, with a leading role in strategic planning and policy development.
• Demonstrates a keen sense of business acumen with strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Resourceful with a self-starter mindset.
