The Health Promotion Board (HPB) is seeking a highly motivated, innovative and dynamic candidate in Research & Development Division which play an important role in laying the foundation for future health promotion strategies and programmes with the aim of integrating research, intervention studies and analytics with practice.
As a key contributor of the Research & Development team, your exciting journey begins with you developing and managing research platforms and research cohorts with the objective of building industry capabilities in technology-enabled research administration, data handling and participant engagement.
You will be part of the team developing and managing game-changing research and experiments. This will support the development of insightful analytics to build strategic narratives for programme and strategy development and evaluation, and communication of findings to internal and external stakeholders. This experience will put you in good stead in contributing to policy output and evidence base for future health promotion programmes.
And last but not the least, your job will expose you to different people across public sector, academic institutions and industry to identify collaborative opportunities for research, data sharing and review of best practices!
Skills and Experience You’ll Bring
You’ll need to be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with intellectual curiosity and at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in health- or social-related areas; and possess
- At least 3-5 years of practical experience managing projects end-to-end including stakeholder management. Prior experience working in the field of public health, health sciences, research or quantitative domains will be an added bonus
- Strong interest in use of technology and analytics in health promotion
- Strong written & communication skills, coupled with strong analytical skills
- Strong problem solving and project management skills and able to think independently to offer resolutions to issues or barriers stakeholders may face
- Strong interpersonal skills for relationship building and negotiations
- Bold, dynamic, forward and deep thinking, motivated, strong drive for success, constantly looking for new growth areas and new knowledge
- Familiarity with research and data analysis will be an added bonus
