What you will be working on

This incumbent supports the smooth running of Active Health planning and budgeting cycles, including (but not limited to) the engagement of key industry partners, as we enable citizens to embark on their health and wellness journey through an evidence-based approach. He/She is attuned to national priorities and the needs of different segment population ranging from children, youths, working adults, seniors to the medically at-risk to conceptualise and develop viable business strategies to enhance the health and wellness knowledge and adoption of the community. Roles & Responsibilities : 1. Develop and align annual Active Health vision and workplan with SportSG strategic plans and overall corporate direction. • Work with Team Lead, Strategy Group and internal stakeholders to develop, align plans and integrative efforts supported by data analysis • Assist Team Lead in reviewing and improving Active Health’s strategic planning processes and work streams including providing inputs and garnering insights from observing ground operations • Lead and provide secretariat support in relevant steering committees, workgroups and taskforces 2. Coordinate with Active Health Engagement and Programme Development & Design Team Leads to execute relevant streams of work. • Set up and align processes with Strategy & Design team, Engagement and PDD teams to enable members to effectively operationalise nexus platforms and to track impact of our work streams and traction of our narratives among key stakeholders • Manage programmes evaluation processes and track outcomes for key Active Health programmes for national level initiatives. 3. Establish meaningful and strong partnerships with stakeholders and industry players to strengthen the Active Health infrastructure. • Identify and recommend strategic platforms to advance SportSG’s thought leadership in health and wellness • Analyse and recommend stakeholder mapping in order to build mindshare and for purpose of resourcing, programming scaling / outreach and narratives building for respective work streams • Work with Division Head to develop a tiered stakeholder engagement framework and maintain relationships with key partners from Tier 1 and advance collaborative opportunities and efforts. 4. Instill an evidence-based planning culture and advance insight-driven data analytics for establishment of evidence-based practices. • Develop an effects-based planning mindset and behaviours within the dept to guide operation designs and planning and demonstrate impact through evidence-based measurements • Work with Programme Design & Development Team Leads in preparation of research proposals with IHLs and/or other partners and keep track of project timeline • Oversee preparation of dashboards and insights presentations to stakeholders.

What we are looking for

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: • General degree or higher in Sport Science & Management or Business Administration or related discipline • Minimum 5 years of proven experience and/or track record in relevant areas, e.g. Business Administration, Strategic Planning and/or Marketing and Communications related field • Strong familiarity with cross-functional collaborations and in managing stakeholders • Strong familiarity with healthcare partners narratives and programmatic efforts • Experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams and taskforces • Knowledge and experience in programme evaluation • Critical thinking skills and analytical ability to exercise independent judgement • Strong work ethics, self-driven and a fast learner • Able to work effectively with colleagues and partners • Excellent communication skills and possess a keen eye for details • Self-motivated and takes initiative to work independently, multi-task and participate as an effective team member • Comfortable with producing powerpoint decks for reporting • Commitment to professional and personal growth and challenges • High level of professionalism and integrity • Love and enjoy sports and adopt health-promoting habits The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
