What the role is

You lead teams and drive the Internal Audit Department (IAD)'s audit and analytics transformation efforts. On this, you explore, propose and drive development of audit and analytics solutions to elevate auditor's work efficiency and draw insights from data in IT systems to identify risk areas.

What you will be working on

- Lead teams and drive audit and analytics transformation effort to elevate work efficiency - Plan, lead, execute and report on investigation of identified risk areas - Manage support, maintenance and enhancement of department's automation and analytics systems - Lead, develop and execute audit activities and training courses to elevate auditor's audit and analytics competencies - Collaborate with other agencies to co-create analytics solutions for identifying transaction anomalies or weaknesses in internal controls - Provide audit advice on key governance, risk management, audit and control issues associated with IT policies and processes - Present ideas and influence stakeholders on audit transformation initiatives Challenge(s) - Driving comprehensive audit and analytics transformation across department

What we are looking for

- Education in Accountancy, Business Administration, Computing or a related field - Qualifications/certifications in data analytics/data science such as Specialist Diploma in Business & Big Data Analytics is advantageous - At least 8 years experience in carrying out audits and/or managing internal controls - Good understanding and practical knowledge in data analytics/data science - Certified Information System Auditor, Certified Internal Auditor, Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification - Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language such as Excel VBA, UiPath, Python, SQL scripting or equivalent - Proficiency in visualisation tools such as QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent - Excellent communication skills both oral and written with ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
