What the role is
We are looking for committed team players to join us to apply your expertise and work with agile development teams to re-engineer business processes, perform functionality test and deliver the next generation of ICT system that improve how taxpayers connect and interact with us.
What you will be working on
- Collaborate with business units within the division and across IRAS to reimage business processes and redesign how our core system can support IRAS’ future needs through innovation
- Scope and manage business requirements through iterative information gathering in collaboration with stakeholders and capture, analyse and translate user needs into user stories
- Evaluate potential use cases and impact of the future payment and refund solutions to support the collection and refund of tax revenue and government payouts through electronic means
- Work with the development team to validate user stories as part of the Agile delivery cycle, e.g., user stories grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demo, etc.
- Embrace digitalization at work and co-create solutions with stakeholders
- Perform and support user acceptance testing activities
- Perform functional testing and verification of data migration
What we are looking for
- Degree in any discipline, preferably with background in Accountancy or Computer Science
- Prior experience working on Agile IT projects is preferred
- Good critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Resourceful and a team player
- Good written and verbal communication skills
