What the role is

Mechanical Engineer

You will be part of a project team working as a Mechanical Engineer on large scale commercial and integrated development works and major A&A works.

What you will be working on

  • Conduct feasibility study of mechanical systems for new development and A&A projects based on different building typologies and functional uses

  • Review consultant’s design proposal for mechanical systems are able to meet applicable standards, codes and project specifications at various  stages of project from feasibility studies, concept, schematic to design development and construction

  • Liaison with various stakeholder to establish users’ requirements

  • Consultation with regulatory authorities on system design

  • Develop work scope, project requirements and technical specifications for mechanical system design

  • Prepare budgetary projection, timeline and strategy to meet project deliverables

  • Conduct engineering studies and investigations and provide engineering guidance

  • Supervise  work progress, review progress claims, attend to technical issue with contractor and relevant stakeholders, conduct progress meeting

What we are looking for

  • Background and qualification in Mechanical Engineering (recognized by PEB)

  • Proficient with MS office program AutoCAD, BIM/Revit

  • Familiar with Code of Practices, regulations, mechanical design and authority submission management

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in design, development and construction of large scale building projects

  • Good communications and writing skills

  • Familiar with Public Sector Contracts would be an advantage
