What the role is
What you will be working on
As a Team Leader, ComLink-Regional Services (CRS) within the SSO, you will assist the Assistant General Manager (CRS) in managing a team to strengthen the social service eco-system at the regional level and deliver comprehensive, convenient and coordinated help for persons in need of assistance. You will supervise and guide CRS officers within your SSO to map out community assets, needs and identify gaps in service delivery. You will then convey these insights to the MSF policy teams to help them in their policy and service planning. You will also be instrumental in determining where services, both funded as well as non-funded, should be located in the community.
You will also lead CRS officers in working with the Family Service Centres within your SSOs’ service boundary to ensure their services continue to address the needs of their clients. You and your team would also have to work with other community partners to support clients with complex social issues (e.g. rough sleepers, cardboard collectors and tissue paper sellers) as well as any other duties required by the organisation.
You will also need to work closely with the Social Assistance team to co-implement business continuity processes and risk management standard operating procedures.
