You will be responsible for developing and implementing policy to make workplaces more progressive, uplift lower-wage workers, support the employment of older workers and drive the adoption of work-life harmony practices by employers. You will achieve this by appropriately utilising a diverse range of tools, including legislative levers, tripartite guidelines, standards and advisories, and grants to drive the development of inclusive workplaces and employment practices.

What the role is
What you will be working on
In particular, you will be part of a team that will use data-driven analysis and insights, to develop robust and sustainable policy solutions, monitor outcomes, and derive further insights to iterate and improve policies.
You may also be required to study international best practices, monitor ground sentiments, engage citizens and stakeholders, and design schemes and work with partners to implement them.
What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualifications in any discipline
• Preferably at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the public sector and/or in a public policy role
• Good writing and analytical skills are essential
• Ability to use data-visualisation (e.g. tableau) software is preferred, otherwise willingness to learn is a must
• Keen interest in labour policy issues
• Ability to articulate views clearly and persuasively
• Ability to effectively build networks and engage stakeholders at different levels
