What the role is

What the role is: The role involves conducting safety and health inspections at various workplaces, including construction sites, manufacturing factories, and warehouses. The role requires the application of technical skills to identify risks and apply relevant laws, such as the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations, as well as interpersonal skills to persuade and influence individuals at all levels. Additionally, the position involves investigating workplace accidents to identify root causes and prevent similar occurrences in the future.

What you will be working on

• Conducting effective inspections to drive overall improvements to safety and health standards of companies. • Addressing physical and systemic lapses identified during inspections. • Preparing quality inspection reports with recommendations of enforcement actions that are completed and approved on time.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering disciplines • Good knowledge and understanding in application of Workplace Safety and Health legislation and Criminal Procedure Code. • Capable of evaluating multifaceted information and making balanced decisions. • Good communication and written skills are essential.
