What you will be working on
- Develop and execute strategic communications messaging through information management plans and communications lines via relevant forums
- Vet DIS-related publicity materials and articles to ensure consistency of the DIS's portrayal and messaging
- Collaborate with relevant agencies to plan and execute information training and education for DIS personnel for required Strategic Communications (SC) skills
Challenge(s)
- Appreciation and understanding of the MINDEF/SAF/DIS operations
- Keeping abreast with events and news which may impact the DIS
- Coordination and collaboration with multiple agencies and stakeholders
What we are looking for
- Education in Communications, Psychology, International Relations, or Social Sciences is preferred
- Good conceptual and analytical skills with ability to synthesise complex information
- Strong writing skills with attention to detail and clarity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic environment
