What the role is
What you will be working on
This is done in collaboration with DIS Departments and Commands, as well as relevant stakeholders, in accordance with DIS strategic communications and security considerations. You plan, manage and optimise a knowledge management system and repository for the DIS’ IMPs and open communication lines to enhance effectiveness and consistence of the DIS strategic communications messaging. On this, you vet DIS related materials and articles to ensure consistency of the DIS’ portrayal and messaging. You also execute the DIS information training and education roadmap, and oversee the raising, training and sustaining of DIS personnel with the required strategic communications skills.
What we are looking for
You must have a tertiary qualification, with at least 6 years' relevant working experience in communications, psychology, international relations, or social science. You should have a good knowledge of information management and experience in managing publicity related publication and content. You should possess good leadership skills, strong planning abilities, and excellent public relations and communications skills. Additionally, you must be able to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
