You will be part of a team of policy officers that formulates and reviews policies and plans to support and advance Singapore’s strategic aviation interests in the area of air navigation services. In this role, you will work with key internal stakeholders such as management and decision makers, as well as operational teams, to develop policies which can be implemented and operationalised effectively to serve Singapore’s existing and future aviation needs. You will also be working closely with senior management in the Ministry of Transport, as well as with other Ministries and public service agencies in relation to legal, foreign policy, and security-related matters.

What the role is
What you will be working on
- Formulate strategies and plans, working closely with operational teams, to support and advance Singapore’s strategic aviation interests, particularly in the provision of air navigation services;
- Develop and recommend policy options taking into account Singapore’s geopolitical context, supported by well-rounded and robust assessments, to enable high level decision-making;
- Partner and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to refine and enhance Singapore’s air navigation services strategy, taking into account legal, foreign policy, and security-related considerations;
- Develop and support the implementation of engagement strategies and plans with key external and international stakeholders; and
- Represent Singapore in international and regional multilateral platforms to monitor and influence global and regional developments in air navigation services matters.

Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
