What the role is

You are responsible to execute the inventory movement, accounting and relevant financial transactions. You monitor contractor performance KPI to ensure compliance with MINDEF/SAF policy and contractual scope. You also analyse warehouse, fuel and eMart contractual performance to identify and improve work processes to strengthen the material supportability and supply chain compliance for the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). In addition, you are required to verify a large set of manual system of records and at the same time understand the performance health of the warehouse operations on a timely and accurate basis.

What you will be working on

Your challenges lie in being able to derive maximum value from contracts as well as being familiar with various contracts. As the custodian of entitlement records (e.g. tailoring of No.1 uniform, maternity wear, etc.), you will be required to meet high service standards and will have to pre-empt situations (e.g. Navy Day anniversary or dining in ceremony) where short notices are given to provide personnel who require items.

What we are looking for

You should have a diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management with at least 3 years' working experience. You should be resourceful, meticulous and able to work independently. You must be comfortable in communicating with all levels of management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with finance and procurement systems is required.
