The Digital domain is a key driver of economic growth for Singapore and is today a dominant reality for Singaporeans. However, along with the economic promise and ubiquity of digitalisation comes domestic and global challenges. One aspect is in the regulatory space, to ensure that our regulatory policies in both traditional telecom / internet and in the expanded scope of digital connectivity remain relevant, and constantly watch for tech trends and societal shifts in both domestic and international front, to formulate fit for purpose regulatory policies for the growth of our digital economy.
The candidate will be part of a team that will help identify opportunities, incubate ideas and develop policies for the digital domain (ranging from telecom, internet and new digital connectivity and regulatory issues), and put forth forward thinking policies and regulations in digital technology and services to advance growth of SG’s digital economy.
