What the role is

The Finance Systems Policy Division oversees and manages various systems to translate healthcare financing policy requirements into operational realities. You will be joining a cross-functional Agile team that works closely together with developers and IT Analysts in managing the MediShield Life and MediSave healthcare claim system. You will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation of MediSave and MediShield Life policies, which are integral to healthcare financing schemes in Singapore. We work collaboratively with our stakeholders to refine, solution, and translate policy objectives into system requirements and solutions. We are seeking individuals with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate the ever-changing healthcare financing landscape. The ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is essential.

What you will be working on

1. Product management a. Understand and integrate knowledge of key policy directions, operational issues, and system design. b. Refine and co-solution policy proposals, and scope and design functionalities to support them. c. Manage the product roadmap and implementation of the features to deliver MediShield Life and MediSave policy enhancements. d. Design, author and test business rules for MediShield Life and MediSave claim validation and computation. 2. Process review and optimisation a. Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. b. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement streamlined processes that enhance productivity. 3. Automation and technology integration a. Identify opportunities for automation and technology integration to implement automated solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy and results analysis to streamline processes and improve decision-making.
