What you will be working on

Team Nila is a National Movement inspiring the Singapore Spirit and transforming Singapore through Sport. This role focuses on comprehensive volunteer management, from recruitment through to programme evaluation. Role and Responsibilities: 1. Volunteer Programme Development and Governance • Build volunteer-friendly culture and ensure compliance with organisational policies, budgets and governance requirements. 2. Volunteer Recruitment and Marketing • Develop recruitment strategies and marketing campaigns to attract suitable volunteers and drive brand awareness. 3. Volunteer Selection and Data Management • Design selection procedures, screen applicants and manage volunteer data in compliance with PDPA guidelines. 4. Volunteer Onboarding and Training • Implement appointment procedures, design orientation programmes and deliver role-specific training for volunteers and leaders. 5. Volunteer Support and Recognition • Guide and support volunteers after placement, manage deployment and implement recognition programmes for contributions. 6. Volunteer Retention and Engagement • Drive retention through data insights, resolve conflicts and develop engagement strategies to maintain active participation. 7. Programme Monitoring and Evaluation • Conduct feedback initiatives, monitor volunteer performance and evaluate programme effectiveness with improvement recommendations.

What we are looking for

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: • Strong understanding of volunteer management principles and best practices. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience in programme development, implementation and evaluation. • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to details. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Passion for volunteerism and community engagement. • Experience in training design and delivery for volunteers or community groups. • Proficiency with volunteer management systems, CRM platforms and database management. • Knowledge of PDPA compliance and data management requirements will be an advantage. The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance.
