What the role is

Part of the International Group in IMDA, the Asia Tech x Programme Office manages and organises the annual Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG) event that brings together change-makers and thought leaders from government and industry to share how tech can make a difference.

You will be part of a dynamic team, that conceptualises, develops and executes the ATxSummit, ATxAI and ATxInspire series.

Responsibilities

- Lead, develop and manage overall ATxSG multi-year, 365 marketing strategy, brand experience, and success indicators to drive awareness and engagement to the right target communities.

- Multi-stakeholder engagement to implement, manage and monitor performance of the strategy and plans, including:

  • Drive the development and execution of Digital and Social Media Marketing (including but not limited to EDM, digital advertising, collaboration with media outlets, management of website).
  • Lead in the development of comms messaging for ATxSG, working with IMDA communications team on delivering targeted outcomes.
  • Lead data-driven marketing decisions to evaluate marketing performance (e.g. Open Rates, Google analytics, CSAT, loyalty score, NPS etc).
  • Lead in the development and execution of stakeholder engagement (such as Trade Associations, Trade publications) to monitor the performance of marketing strategy and plans.

- Develop and oversee community and partner marketing plans, including:

  • Driving cross-marketing and database acquisition efforts with key partners and sponsors.
  • Building of targeted databases to grow physical (primarily) and virtual attendees based on identified guest archetypes.
  • Identifying, securing and managing potential trade association and trade publications as partners to reach out to identified guest archetypes including cross-marketing opportunities.
  • Identify and assess technology platforms as well as work on the CRM system in collaboration with the IT manager.
  • Lead in the development and building of strong brand advocacy e.g. through ATxInspire series.

Requirements

  • Background and 10-15 years' working experience in a Marketing, Communications or Public Relations function.
  • Demonstrable experience in campaign management, conceptualising and implementing a strategy that raises awareness, generates interest and solicits action.
  • Strong brand and marketing foundational knowledge.
  • Advanced understanding of social media, web technology and how it supports marketing.
  • Good communication, presentation and people management skills.
  • Experience in managing teams, as well as third party marketing agencies and vendors.
