What the role is

You will be part of the Hub Policy & Development Department in the Strategy & Policy Division. You will be involved in formulating, assessing and providing recommendations on the economic regulation, facilitation and development of the business of port, ferry terminals and marine service providers to maintain and enhance Singapore's hub port status; as well as the advancement and safeguarding of Singapore's strategic maritime economic interests. This includes:
- Developing and reviewing economic regulation frameworks, including pricing and service levels
- Ensuring sufficient port and ferry terminal capacity to meet the needs of industry and users/passengers
- Keeping abreast of port developments and assessing impact to Singapore
- Engaging and collaborating with key port authorities on best practices and areas of mutual interests

Requirements
​You would be expected to make written submissions and presentations from time to time. Hence you should possess excellent written, communication and presentation skills. You should also have strong analytical skills and be meticulous and well organized. In addition, you should be able to work independently as well as in a team. While experience in policy formulation would be advantageous, applicants with no experience may apply. Fresh graduates are welcome.
