What the role is

1. Monitor and analyse the evolving philanthropy landscape to derive insights and opportunities
2. Develop, evaluate and execute strategies and strategic partnerships to strengthen the ecosystem for sustainable resourcing and giving
3. Support the formulation and execution of philanthropic-related policies and messaging

What you will be working on

  • Undertake environmental scanning and sectoral research to identify emerging trends and build competitive value propositions for Community Chest
  • Formulate strategy and strategic initiatives to address structural issues in the sector/landscape
  • Develop a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for Community Chest
  • Develop, evaluates and manage strategic partnerships for philanthropy
  • Draft policy papers on philanthropy-related issues
  • Develop content and strategic messages to position Community Chest as the choice philanthropic partner for the social service sector
  • Lead projects and assignments as and when needed

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Organised, meticulous and proactive
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • High energy and result oriented
     

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong writing skills
  • Knowledge of social service/fundraising landscape will be an added advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in related roles
  • Public sector experience will be an added advantage
