What the role is
What you will be working on
• Coordinating all aspects of development projects, including the entire construction lifecycle, such as scheduling project timelines, securing budgets, and monitoring the compliance with safety standards, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Managing tendering, contracting, and procurement processes to ensure compliance with MOM's procurement strategy, policy, and governance.
• Facilitating communication with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with regulations, building codes and FEDA requirements.
• Collaborating with JTC CentEx, design consultants, vendors/suppliers, and other stakeholders to meet project requirements.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress to MOM management / NESST board of directors and addressing any arising issues.
• Assist in promoting Migrant Workers (MWs) wellbeing and improved living standards initiatives with Associations, NGOs, and MW centres.
• Assist in project trials and Prove of Concept innovation initiatives.
• Handling administrative tasks such as coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, maintaining official records, and supporting the secretariat team in various administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Completion of additional ad hoc tasks assigned by the Reporting Officer as and when required.
What we are looking for
• Possess at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Possess tertiary qualifications in Procurement or Business Management preferred.
• Possess a depth of knowledge and relevant experience in handling complex procurement matters.
• A good knowledge of IM on Procurement and GeBIZ would be advantage.
• Able to handle end users professionally, work independently and be efficient with a strong customer service mindset.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.
• Possess an inquisitive mind, meticulous in details and a good team player.
• Good written, communication, presentation and IT skills are essential.
