What the role is

The Singapore Prison Service protects society through the safe and secure custody of offenders. We take the lead in providing guidance to offenders under our charge and assist them in their reintegration upon their release. We cooperate with our partners in aftercare and prevention, working with them to rehabilitate, renew, and restart the lives of offenders so they can become productive members of society. As Captains of Lives, our team of uniformed officers and civilian staff work together to inspire everyone at every chance towards a society without reoffending.

What you will be working on

What we are looking for

Eligibility Requirements • Local polytechnic diploma, General Certificate of Education (GCE) ‘A’ Level, five GCE ‘O’ Level passes, Higher Nitec or Nitec • Medically & physically fit (For Male: PES B1 and above; at least a “Pass” in IPPT in latest year) • Normal colour vision For more information about the career as a Prison Officer, please visit our website at www.sps.gov.sg.
