What the role is

You will be part of the Corporate Planning team that helps develop/promote strategic oversight and alignment of MPA’s plans, targets and progress internally towards identified corporate outcomes, and externally with broader Whole-of-Government objectives.

What you will be working on

  • Formulation of MPA’s corporate plans which set strategic directions. This includes supporting management in setting and tracking MPA’s corporate direction, strategies and key performance indicators, ensuring organizational alignment to corporate objectives, partnering MPA Divisions to coordinate their work plans and formulating overarching narratives for reporting to stakeholders through key channels.

  • Plan and organize MPA’s annual corporate planning exercises in alignment with MPA’s strategic thrusts. This includes organising corporate-wide events such as staff conference, management retreats and briefings to cascade key information on corporate performance.

  • Drive MPA’s efforts in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) by ensuring the relevance of MPA’s ERM framework and policies. This includes working with various stakeholders to implement ERM policies, identifying gaps, reviewing risks, and reporting to management.

  • Track progress of work plans and support efforts to improve and streamline existing Management reporting tools.

What we are looking for

You would be expected to make written submissions and presentations and hence you should possess excellent written, communication and presentation skills. You should also have strong analytical skills. You should be meticulous and well organized, and be able to work independently as well as in a team.  While experience in corporate planning and/or policy formulation would be advantageous, applicants with no experience may apply
