What the role is
What you will be working on
The incumbent reports to the Division Head, Active Health Strategy Office and will be part of the Sport Development Group. He/She works within a team and supports the capability development of Active Health and integration projects, including current and future technological and process solutions, as we enhance the health and wellness knowledge and adoption of the community.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Implement and manage technical capability building initiatives and continuously identify solutions pertinent to technical capability development needs within Active Health
• Assist Division Head in implementing and reviewing the technical competency of Active Health to identify gaps and growth opportunities and put in place gap closure measures with the plan for efficiency and to scale over time
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders eg. IHLs, health tech partners to advance business plans and solutions by conducting proof of concept for recommended digital or smart innovation projects
• Monitor technology trends and best practices in the industry
• Work with Division Head and Industry Development, Technology & Innovation Group to advance collaborative opportunities for Active Health
• Contribute to joint landscape study to develop a capability building framework to close the supply-demand gap in support of Healthier SG and SportSG’s objectives of health and well-being outcomes
• Develop, implement and evaluate health coaching skills/competency framework for Active Health in collaboration with IHLs, Skillfuture and other partners
• Facilitate development and implementation of Active Health Certification through National Registry of Exercise Professionals with the support of PDD team members
• Support integration of Active Health app with ActiveSG app and other apps in the near future eg. Healthy365
• Collaborate with PTD and systems owners for related app development, logic flow and map user experience (UX)
• Align with Project Morpho timeline to provide timely inputs from Active Health to PDD
• Drive internal conversations related to needs and design of Active Health app based on UXUI journey
• Conceptualise and implement capability development programmes through Active X, with focus on Team Nila and youths while using Active Health doctrine.
• Lead in ActiveX Taskforce workgroup and drive integrations with internal partners from Children & Youth, Active Masters, Active Health and Team Nila
• Develop and establish evaluation framework for ActiveX
• Support in the development of modified sports for seniors/masters segment
What we are looking for

In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
• Bachelor Degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing & Communications or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of proven experience and/or track record in relevant areas
• Experience in developing capabilities and solutions
• Strong familiarity with design thinking, technology cycles, UX/UI and prototyping
• Strong familiarity with health tech partners capabilities
• Experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams and taskforces
• Experience in stakeholder management functions
• Knowledge and experience in programme evaluation
• Possess Critical thinking skills and analytical ability to exercise independent judgement
• Motivated by innovation to achieve business goals and citizens satisfaction
• Is problem solving oriented and capable of convincing management, business users and developers in advancing to new situation
• Strong work ethics, self-driven and a fast learner

The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance.
