What the role is
What you will be working on
- Formulate and review NE policies and initiatives
- Develop strategic messages for NE and TD
- Explore new ideas and partnerships to enhance national resilience efforts
- Develop plans and policies for Whole-of-Government NE efforts in sensing, content generation, and engagement
Challenge(s)
- Understanding how issues related to NE and TD impact the department's work
- Balance departmental interests with those of partners
- Developing effective strategies to achieve strategic outcomes
What we are looking for
- Education in Communication Studies or Social Sciences
- At least 2 years of work experience in policy-making or public communications is preferred
- Strong interest and understanding of national issues
- Strong command of clear written and spoken English
- Good networking skills with an open and probing mind
