You will lead a team to improve SID's overall visual and digital communications to create products that enable our policy makers to better understand and decide on key national issues.

• Support the implementation of our product design strategy • Manage the overall design operation load, including monitoring design projects, providing consultation and conducting on-the-job training • Innovate, develop, and maintain our design work processes, methods and supporting resources (e.g. design style guide, library, and related tools) • Supervise the day-to-day requests for visual and digital content development • Lead design exploration on interactive content development • Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team • Design and implement workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind • Plan and guide your team's professional growth, in both general and technical areas • Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders • Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential What you will gain: • Expertise in applying design communications in the context of an intelligence organisation • Communication and stakeholder management skills through working in multi-disciplinary teams

• Diploma, Degree or equivalent experience in design management, digital media design, product design development, or visual communications • At least three years of relevant digital design management experience • Strong track record of multi-disciplinary design experience • Strong in stakeholder management, planning and administration, with experience in project management • Strong in implementing visual and interactive design proposals into the digital space • Able to facilitate requirement gathering, lead a design team and work with IT developers to answer requirements • Familiar with design tools (e.g. Adobe design suite) and collaboration tools (e.g. Miro/Jira, Confluence, GitHub database and JS library) • Possess basic digital designer level proficiency, with good understanding of frontend related programming languages (e.g. html, javascript, js.library) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Motivated team player, as well as an independent self-starter
