The Smart Nation Group – Digital Government (SNDG), under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and administratively managed by the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI), plans and prioritizes key Smart Nation and digital government projects, raises the standards of Government ICT and services, builds long-term capabilities for the public sector, and promotes adoption and participation in digital and smart innovations. It takes a whole-of-nation effort, and we will actively engage the public, the industry and fellow agencies as we build a Smart Nation together.

What the role is
What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute policies, strategies, and roadmaps to drive technology access and adoption across Whole-of-Government (WOG). Develop measures to assess policy effectiveness and implement interventions when obstacles arise.
• Build subject matter expertise and stay abreast of technological developments in the Digital Government space. Maintain a thorough understanding of the Government ICT landscape and operational processes. Demonstrate active stakeholder management, working across multiple agencies, encouraging ideation, and managing diverse priorities.
• Cover a spectrum of IT domains, including central cloud and on-premise hosting, central infrastructure and application platforms, software engineering productivity (such as CI/CD), endpoint devices, data centre sustainability (GreenGov.SG), capability development, and grant management of translational R&D (TRANS Grant).
What we are looking for
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of system development, maintenance, and their optimal applications.
• Familiarity with essential characteristics, service models, and deployment of cloud services.
• Knowledge of key cloud services offered by major cloud providers, cloud application architecture, and cloud migration approaches.
• Understanding of fundamental principles of well-architected application infrastructure platforms and application infrastructure integration methods.
• Ability to map available application infrastructure reference architecture against existing implementations.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology)
● Previous experience in a similar role or a strong technical background.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
