What the role is

About Civil Service College: Civil Service College (CSC) Singapore is a statutory board under the Public Service Division, Prime Minister’s Office. We are the central learning institution for the Singapore Public Service and we play a pivotal role in partnering government ministries and agencies to develop people for a first class public service. CSC brings together public service officers from diverse backgrounds and provides them opportunities to plug into a service-wide network to exchange views, build shared ethos and perspectives, creating a rich environment for dialogue, knowledge sharing and learning. Through our programmes and services, CSC aims to build commitment and strategic capacity in governance, leadership, public administration and management for the Singapore Public Service. About CSC International (CSCI): CSCI is the international engagement arm of the Civil Service College, which aims to build strategic partnerships through the sharing of Singapore’s public service experience and best practices with the wider global community. CSCI’s clientele include foreign public officers who visit Singapore from time to time to learn best practices and understand how Singapore has progressed over the years.

What you will be working on

• Design, develop and manage study visits and training programmes for international delegates of the assigned countries/region • Conduct research on regions, countries and institutions • Network and build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and clients • Involvement in administrative duties, project management and business development work

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the field of Learning and Development preferred • Confident, diplomatic, and good interpersonal skills • Customer-focused • Strong interest and knowledge of Singapore Government and current affairs • Strong presentation skills • Ability to adapt to changes and manage competing demands • Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask • Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to communicate with delegates from China. Being able to read and write in Chinese will be an added advantage. • Good analytical and communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively within CSC and with external partners • Demonstrate integrity and drive for excellence in work
