What the role is

As a tax professional, you have tax knowledge at your fingertips and the heart to build a socially responsible taxpaying community. What you will be working on

  • Work independently to analyse assigned cases to devise the most effective strategy to maximize recovery of outstanding tax returns or overdue taxes.
  • Communicate and negotiate effectively with corporate taxpayers to reach an agreement, while influencing a mindset shift towards voluntary compliance.
  • Be involved in projects leveraging a mix of data analysis, technology, agile principles, behavioural insights, and design to improve work processes, service delivery and voluntary compliance.
  • Support supervisors on technical, systems and procedural issues that may arise from complex situations.

What we are looking for

  • Degree in any discipline - economics and business-related fields will be an advantage.
  • Good presentation and written communication skills required for project papers.
  • Ability to question, probe and analyse.
  • Ability to manage challenging taxpayer situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
