What the role is

As a tax professional, you have tax knowledge at your fingertips and the heart to build a socially responsible taxpaying community. What you will be working on

Work independently to analyse assigned cases to devise the most effective strategy to maximize recovery of outstanding tax returns or overdue taxes.
Communicate and negotiate effectively with corporate taxpayers to reach an agreement, while influencing a mindset shift towards voluntary compliance.
Be involved in projects leveraging a mix of data analysis, technology, agile principles, behavioural insights, and design to improve work processes, service delivery and voluntary compliance.
Support supervisors on technical, systems and procedural issues that may arise from complex situations.

What we are looking for

Degree in any discipline - economics and business-related fields will be an advantage.
Good presentation and written communication skills required for project papers.
Ability to question, probe and analyse.
Ability to manage challenging taxpayer situations with professionalism and composure.
