What the role is

As the Manager of Gaming Technology Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing GRA's gaming technology regulatory framework. Your expertise will drive the development, oversight, and continuous improvement of technical standards across gaming machines, equipment, and casino management systems. This dynamic position requires a deep understanding of technology, analytics, and compliance with the opportunity to expand your regulatory knowledge across various aspects of the gaming industry.

What you will be working on

• Develop and Maintain Standards: Design, implement, and update technical standards for gaming machines, gaming equipment, and casino management systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations. • Evaluate Proposals: Assess and provide recommendations for the approval of new gaming equipment, machines, and casino management systems, ensuring their compliance with GRA’s standards. • Technical Investigation: Conduct technical investigations and gather data and evidence related to malfunctioning or non-compliant gaming devices. • Onsite Inspections & Compliance: Conduct inspections of casino operations, identify compliance gaps, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively. • Casino IT System Audits: Perform detailed walkthroughs of casino IT systems to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and best practices. • Mathematical & Statistical Analysis: Apply mathematical models and statistical methods to evaluate slot and table game performance and fairness. • Data Management & Reporting: Clean, validate, and prepare data for the development of analytical dashboards to support decision-making processes related to regulatory oversight and compliance monitoring.

What we are looking for

• 2 years of experience in application development, with a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end application development is preferred. • Educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics. • Understanding of system architecture, network infrastructure, cloud hosting technology and models • Experience in database architecture, data analytics, and machine learning. • A passion for technology and innovation in addition to an analytical mindset with strong research and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders. • A strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a drive for excellence in all tasks.
