What the role is
What you will be working on
Brief description of Job Scope:
You will be part of a team that supports the NCPG to administer gambling social safeguards to protect vulnerable individuals and families from problem gambling. Your role in the division involves transforming how we serve our clientele through service improvement and digitalisation. This includes analysing operations data and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to uncover insights and implementing strategies to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.
To develop good insights and gain first-hand experience of the operational processes, you will be handling a small case load at the initial phase of your work with NCPG.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyse and optimize service delivery processes, streamline work processes, and eliminate bottlenecks to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations to enhance customer service experience and improve overall customer satisfaction.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and progress to stakeholders.
• Analyse datasets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights to aid in the service transformation initiatives.
• Handle casework which includes interviewing clients, preparing reports and presenting the case to Committee of Assessors / Council Members etc.
What we are looking for
Requirements:
• Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics will be an advantage.
• Strong background in service transformation, data analytics, and project management.
• Strong communication, analytical and inter-personal skills to engage a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset to identify opportunities, propose solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• A keen interest in social causes and desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Experience in using data analytics software, such as Python, R or SQL etc.
• Good understanding of data visualisation tools, e.g., Tableau, Power BI.
