What the role is

You will be involved in these areas in the field of taxpayer service delivery: - Design Thinking - Data Analytics - ChatBot - Artificial Intelligence Automation - Customer Experience (CX) - Social Media Engagement

What you will be working on

Gain competency in the application of taxes, confidence building, communications & negotiation skills learnt which are important pre-requisites for future employment. Additionally, gain experiences in redesigning external and internal customer experiences through infographics, videos and other online media contents and learning end user computing skills such as RPA, Data Analytics and Visualisation skills Provide quality service and advices to taxpayers on tax practices, application of tax laws and assessments through helpline, live chats and walk-ins. Strong interpersonal and communications skills are required to handle public inquiries across different communication platforms.

What we are looking for

Tax Compliance on Basic Income Tax/Property Tax • Prepare or assess returns of income for individuals and/or sole-proprietor/partnership business to ensure timely submission with all other relevant information sent to the Comptroller of Income Tax by the due date • Explain tax filing and payment requirements and the consequences of non-compliance • Identify available claims, or need to object/ appeal an assessment, ensuring that they are submitted within the required time limits. Operational Procedure • Ability to handle various types of phone/interview/live chat enquiries according to the standard operating procedures of the company Service Etiquette • Hone good communication skills (written and verbal) to communicate well with taxpayers • Communicate effectively, appropriately and professionally with the relevant parties in relation to both routine/specific matters. • Understand the concept of No Wrong Door Policy and Assurance of Anxious Taxpayer Tax Planning • Assist to assess the effect of changes in legislation or case law on the tax liabilities of an individual or entity
