You will formulate and review the implementation of manpower policies for Singapore’s overall workforce agenda and strategy across Whole-of-Government.

• Collaborate with stakeholders e.g. tripartite partners and other agencies, to drive research on emerging and longer-term workforce trends to guide policy moves on manpower development. • Develop and review policies related to Singapore’s workforce to drive good employment outcomes for Singaporeans through crafting well thought-through policy narratives and arguments. • Balance policy objectives with practical constraints surfaced through feedback from businesses and workers, as well as situating issues within broader objectives at the Whole-of-Government, Ministry- and national-levels. • Developing and reviewing policies will be supported by rigorous analysis of both quantitative and qualitative information and engagement with trade associations and chambers to incorporate business insights.

• Strong policy acumen and good analytical skills • Good interpersonal, communication skills, with the confidence to meaningfully engage diverse stakeholders and senior management • Highly-motivated, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work well in a team, with the willingness to take initiative • Familiarity with statistical programming tools and visualisation software (e.g. R, Python, Tableau) will be an advantage
