What the role is

Project Title: Improve and streamline WPD Customer Operations through automation of existing processes through RPA and related tool The interns will need to work closely with various Customer Operations (CO) users to study and review the existing manual processes and identify the areas of pain-points such as the repeated mundane work being performed and gaps. From the study, the interns will have to explore with the team to seamlessly integrate RPA and related tool into the existing systems and workflows. Learning Outcome: Through this internship programme, they will be able to:- 1. develop a better understanding of the work done by Work Pass Division and how the public service (PS) does our work with the aim of delivering good customer services and ensuring that the processes that are customer-fronting are simplified and easy to follow 2. have a good sense of the work culture and environment in PS

What you will be working on

The interns will be part of CO RPA team and contribute to the creation of intelligent RPA robots that streamline repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency and productivity. As part of project management, the interns will have to do the following: a) give presentation along the project to update management on the project progress b) document the project journey including stating the key milestones and objectives c) develop a user guide and technical specifications as part of knowledge management for ease of operations and maintenance by CO users subsequently

What we are looking for

1) Clear spoken and written communication skills in English 2) Have knowledge of RPA and related tools, like basic SQL, python etc 3) Resourceful, analytical and independent 4) Have experience in implementation of RPA projects will be a bonus though not necessary
