What you will be working on
- Liaise with relevant agencies to resolve HR and administrative issues raised by NSmen and respond directly to NSmen or their commanders
- Collaborate with agencies on HR management functions including succession planning, resource allocation, top-ups, course management and performance appraisals
- Plan and conduct cohesion activities for NS units to strengthen unit bonds and morale
- Serve as the primary point of contact for NSmen regarding HR and administrative matters
Challenge(s)
- Managing the complexities of the NS system and translating its unique demands into effective HR requirements for all ranks and levels
- Communicating effectively with NSmen from diverse backgrounds who have varied expectations and situations requiring tailored solutions
- Coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders with different priorities to achieve objectives in a timely and accurate manner
What we are looking for
- Education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience in HR or administrative roles, with hands-on experience using SAP for HR administration preferred
- Strong interest in process management and engagement work
- Possess good leadership and team organisation capabilities
- Knowledge of NS system and military administrative processes is advantageous
- Strong command of English language in both written and oral communication
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities including defining problems, generating, evaluating, and implementing solutions
