You will be playing an active role in the academic, professional, and personal development of the learners to prepare them for work and life. This includes development of Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education & Training (CET) curriculums, programme delivery and working on industry projects.
[What will you be working on]
Develop course including curriculum development, course delivery (face-to-face & online) and project supervision.
Prepare and grade assessments and supervise learners in their daily course work.
Manage Learning Management System (LMS), execute interactive digital tools (e.g. Kahoot, Mentimeter) and harness technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Be Personal Mentor to learners, support them in pastoral care and handle day-to-day administrative matters.
Support the school’s strategic initiatives through involvement in committee work and projects.
Spearhead and identify new opportunities, initiatives, and collaborations with the industry.
Manage and undertake project development with industry.
[What we are looking for]
Highly motivated and resourceful candidates who are nurturing and enjoy interacting with learners with the following:
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a science related field.
Relevant qualifications in life sciences, especially Clinical Lab Sciences (Hematology, Histopathology, Clinical Chemistry) and Biochemistry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in digital skills, ability to adapt and multi-task.
Candidates are also expected to be involved in the teaching and curriculum development of other areas such as:
Data & Statistical methods
Calculus
Innovation & Design Thinking.
It will be an advantage if the candidates have relevant experience in Biomedical Science (medical lab science) and are proficient in analytics tools (e.g. Microsoft Power BI).
