What the role is
What you will be working on
The Records Management Department (RMD), as the custodian of the Board’s records and information, plays a vital role in managing the Board’s official records, ensuring important decisions and information are captured and retained. This aids in maintaining operational integrity and efficiency, comply with regulations and thus enhance our role as Trustee. As a Records Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with a progressive team seeking to redefine how records and information are managed in an ever-evolving records and information management landscape.
In this role, for ITE/Diploma interns, you will:
• Onboard users onto the eLearning module and aid where needed.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of the outreach activities such as the WOG Community of Practice for Records Management.
• Coordinate and work with digitisation partners to ensure the records are captured and retrievable.
In this role, for Degree/Postgraduate interns, you will:
• Market Research: Conduct research on global trends on information governance and management and leverage knowledge of new technologies to enhance, automate or revolutionise CPF Board’s records management processes.
• Monitoring: monitor compliance to IM4L and other relevant IMs. Analyse and prepare recommendations to improve records and information practices in the Board.
• Data analytics: Use data analytics and reporting capabilities to derive insights from organisation's records.
What we are looking for
We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.
• Currently pursuing studies in Information Management, Library Science, or a related field.
• A genuine interest in information or records management or in exploring what these fields are about.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and is inquisitive.
• Keen interest in exploring new technologies and knowledge.
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual.
• Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to take on new challenges.
Position is on a full-time internship basis Jan – Aug 2025.
