The intern will assist the Individual Insolvency & Debt Repayment Scheme Division ("IIDRSD") of the Insolvency & Public Trustee's Office (“IPTO”) in the following tasks:
a) Assess debtor's application to be placed under the Debt Repayment Scheme (“DRS”)
b) Examine documents submitted by the debtor and verify extent of debtor's assets and liabilities.
c) Conduct meeting of creditors to determine debtor’s repayment plan.
d) Handle both general and case-specific enquiries from debtors and creditors
e) Assist DRS officers to review cases for cessation of the debt repayment plans (completion, failure or inapplicable for DRS)
