You will be responsible for carrying out strategic communications and engagement functions to ensure effective and timely communications of MOF's policies and initiatives to both external and internal stakeholders. You will work on communication projects to increase awareness and understanding of MOF’s policies and facilitate the achievement of MOF’s objectives and mission.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Provide strategic communications support. This includes formulating communications plans, partnership and engagement plans, red-teaming of hot-button issues, and message testing.
• Implement strategic communications plans across communications and engagement platforms including media management, issues management and social media, to create awareness, understanding and appreciation of MOF policies and initiatives.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships through engagements.
• Provide communications, engagement and/or media support for Budget.
• Lead communications and engagement projects.
What we are looking for
• Tertiary education in Mass Communications / Communications and New Media or related field.
• At least 2 - 6 years’ experience in communications, media, engagement, or partnerships roles.
• Keen interest in current affairs, national and public policy issues.
• Experience in interacting with internal/external stakeholders
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and meticulous, with ability to work independently in a dynamic fast paced environment and with tight deadlines.
• Team player with strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and project management skills.
• Good command of the English language with strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong interest/experience in social media management and content creation.
