What the role is

You will be part of a dynamic team who carries out communications and engagement functions to ensure effective and timely communications of MOF’s policies and initiatives, thereby facilitating the achievement of MOF’s corporate objectives and mission.

What you will be working on

• Develop strategic communications plans across communications and engagement platforms. • Execute strategic communications efforts, including media publicity planning, media management, issues management and social media, to create awareness, understanding and appreciation of MOF policies and initiatives. • Part of the team to work on media publicity efforts for Singapore Budget. • Work with internal and external stakeholders on the execution of plans.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary education in Mass Communications / Communications and New Media or related field • At least 2 years’ experience in media management roles • Experience in developing and implementing strategic communications plans for platforms including media • A keen interest in and strong awareness of current affairs and national issues • Self-motivated and meticulous, with ability to work independently in a dynamic fast paced environment and with tight deadlines • Team player with strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and project management skills • Good command of the English language with strong written and verbal communications skills
